The Waterside Women’s Centre encourages women to pursue their own development and make choices about their own lives.

Aims

• To provide a secure space and support for all women to pursue their own development and make decisions about their own lives.
• To empower women to make their own choices by providing and promoting education, training and information in a neutral environment for all women.
• To provide free, quality on-site child-care so that women can access education and training opportunities.
• To place the issue of gender equality on the social agenda by encouraging local women to be more involved in social, political and economic decision-making.
